Design Concepts

The design features of this project are very dependent on the feedback and support measured in our community survey.  Our survey of 1500 area residents provided great insight into the wants and needs of our community and provided a realistic assessment of existing community resources.

Based on the survey feedback and the input from our pool design professionals - the early design includes features that provide programming capacity and flexibility - while meeting the different needs of our community for warm water, shallow water, competitive space and general recreation. 

There is an important balance to strike between cost of construction, cost of operations -- and the fact that this long-time community asset needs to be built right the first time with the required programming space and flexibility.

Current design details include Family Locker Rooms, a Multi-Purpose Room for general use, a Wet Classroom for parties, lifesaving classes etc -- and:
